Mask Policy

MASK RETURNS/EXCHANGES
For hygienic and sanitary reasons all masks are Final Sale. Due to the personal nature of this item, we do not accept any exchanges, however, if you have any problems with your order, please contact us at INFO@PHLSEW.COM

MASK CANCELLATIONS
We accept cancellations within 24 hours of purchase. We are not able to cancel an order later than that, as we have already started to process it. Please contact us directly INFO@PHLSEW.COM

MASK PROCESSING & SHIPPING

All of our items are handmade, made-to-order. Please allow 4-5 business days for order processing of fabric masks. 

We are working daily to fulfill and ship mask orders but are now operating at a limited capacity. Orders are shipped daily, weekdays.

MASK SHIPPING

All domestic orders are shipped USPS First Class Mail with insurance and tracking, Monday-Friday

PhiladelphiaSewing&Co. cannot be held responsible for items lost or stolen during transit. Due to the high volume of online purchases during

shelter-in-place there may be delays in shipping that we cannot control. USPS First Class Mail typically takes 2-5 business days but during this time could take longer.

Wholesale Orders are shipped USPS Priority Mail with insurance and tracking, Monday-Friday.

CARE

Machine wash on gentle, machine dry on low-medium heat. Hand wash in hot, soapy water, hang dry.

Can be ironed.

* Ties may tangle in machine wash/dry. Tie in a bundle to prevent tangle or hand wash and hang dry.

Mask: EVA Material (PVC-free plastic), 100% Cotton Twill binding

Ear Loops: 3mm Spandex/Nylon elastic cord 

PE+Galvanized Iron Single Core nose wire

Ties: 100% Cotton Twill binding

Thread: Cotton, Polyester

Hand wash in hot, soapy water, hang dry.

Cannot be ironed. Do Not iron.

Disclaimer: The masks outlined on this website are not medical grade and are not FDA approved. These are not direct substitutes for N95 surgical or procedural masks. These masks are meant to help reduce person-to-person droplet transmission of viruses.

Production

Production time is listed for all 'Made to Order' products listed in the Shop. Please keep this in mind when placing an order. If you need something sooner please email me to see if I can fulfill your order. I may be able to  offer rush services for a small fee.

Shipping time is not included in the production time. Please email me if you would like your order expedited and your shipping charges will be adjusted.

Custom

I strive to provide the greatest quality for each custom order. 

When you commission my service or purchase any of my goods you are paying for quality from years of professional training and attention to detail.

​

Custom orders not only include the labor into creating each piece but also includes consultations; designing; sourcing of the perfect color-match, fabric, thread, and trims for every individual design. Your piece will be completely personalized.

​

The design process can take anywhere from a couple of email exchanges to 3+ weeks of back-and-forth consultations. Please be aware of the design-production time. I work with you on every detail to ensure expectations are met and this is a separate process from production. 

A non-refundable 50% deposit is due once the design is finalized to initiate production of your custom piece. Please allow 3-5 weeks for production once your design is finalized.

I welcome any emails for sewing services. I will take a look at any project to see if it is currently within my scope or refer you to a trusted colleague.

CUSTOM BANNER POLICIES

  • We reserve the right to adjust charges based on project difficulty subject to client’s approval

  • Client must supply all artwork in vector format. Additional fees will apply for artwork formatting or redesigning at $100.

  • If you require artwork or logo designing, there is a Design fee of $150.

  • Each project may require 3+ consultations. Consultation and design process can take anywhere from 2 days to 2+ weeks. 

  • Please allow 3-5 weeks turnaround once design is finalized

  • Written estimates are provided and subject to client’s approval before initiating every project

  • 25% Rush Fee may apply for rush services

  • A non-refundable 50% deposit is required for all custom orders. Receipt of deposit will initiate production

  • Any adjustments made to final design after deposit is received is subject to 25% fee

  • Balance due upon completion of goods/services, before shipment/delivery. 

  • Mounting hardware not included

  • Price is based on single-sided banner

Banner Care

My banners are made for indoor use. They may be displayed outdoors for short periods of time but are not made to withstand extended outdoor use and could be damaged in wet weather such as rain or snow. For outdoor banners, contact INFO@PHLSEW.COM for custom options.

Wool Felt Banners may be spot-cleaned with water and a very gentle or diluted detergent. If wrinkled or creased, wool felt banners can be steamed or ironed on medium heat. 

My wool felt is made from a blend of wool and a resin fiber made from recycled tree pulp.

​

Satin Banners are susceptible to water staining, so do not spot-clean. Dry iron only on medium heat from the backside of the banner. Satin is also susceptible to sun damage and should not be stored or displayed in direct sunlight or in a window for extended periods of time. 

​

Banners, when not in use are best stored flat or rolled. Folded banners may result in hard-to-remove creases. Every banner is shipped in a rolled format with a muslin case for storing or transportation.

Return & Cancellation Policy

I make every effort to ensure that my products and materials are represented accurately. I cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of any color will be accurate.

RETURNS

If you are unhappy with your purchase I accept returns or exchanges. Please email to begin the return process.

Returns or exchanges are accepted within 7 days of delivery for unused items.

Ship items back within 7 days of receipt of order.

Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs for returned or exchanged items.

If you would like to exchange for an item that is out of stock, please allow 1-2 weeks production time to receive your exchange.

Shipping Policy

All orders ship via the US Postal Service
Expected delivery time within the US:

First-Class Shipping: 2-5 business days. Includes tracking.

Priority Mail: 2-3 business days. Includes insurance and tracking.


DOMESTIC DELIVERY:

All domestic orders are shipped USPS with tracking. PhiladelphiaSewing&Co. cannot be held responsible for items lost or stolen during transit. If a package is lost or stolen, you must wait till after the projected delivery date, provided in your tracking email, to contact us about the next steps and to file a claim with USPS. As a micro business we will do our best to come to a resolution with our customers.

Please contact me if you would like you order shipped express or add insurance to cover the full amount of goods purchased and your charges will be adjusted.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY:

At the moment we do not offer international shipping. We will be working towards this in 2021.
